Return Policy

Terms: Payment by credit card or check received in advance of processing order & releasing material for shipment. Returned checks carry a $40.00 return check fee. Other payment arrangements must be in writing & authorized by QNS.

Discrepancies: Will not be honored after three months from the invoice date for terms, delivery fees, prices or allowances.

Handling Charge: Is calculated as 4% of factory imposed freight charges & will be assessed with freight charges on the invoice except upon where a delivered (guaranteed) price is agreed & put in writing. Customer has the option of providing QNS, at the time of order, with their UPS/ FedEx account # or common carrier account #, thus allowing for freight collect status.

F.O.B. Point (Free On Board): It is the factory location from where the material ships. Freight charges, as described above, will be added to the invoice. QNS will give the customer a freight charge estimate before an order is received, if requested. Our estimate to the customer is based on either the factory's stated estimate to QNS or calculations made by QNS. Freight estimates are not guaranteed prices.

Shipping Weights: When furnished and packaging data are carefully calculated, but not guaranteed.

Shipment Methods: The manufacturers whom we employ will exercise their best judgments regarding the type of carrier & routing but neither QNS nor the shippers will accept liability for shipping charges incurred.

Product Returns: Must be made within 30 days from date of shipment. All returns must have prior written authorization issued by QNS & the factory. Returned goods are subject to the current restock charge ( as a % of the sale ) of the factory. All freight on return goods must be prepaid by the customer unless prior written arrangements have been made by QNS. The freight charges to & from the customer's location are not refundable. Items made for special order are not returnable for credit.

Order Cancellation: Will not be accepted without the written authorization from QNS. Cancellation of orders already scheduled, or in process, or in route to customer, may be accepted, subject to charges for expenses as a result of the cancellation.

Damaged Goods & Concealed Damage: Per the factory's written policy. Provided upon request.

Limited Warranty: Per the factory's written policy. Provided upon request.

Sales Taxes: Local, county, state & federal sales tax, if applicable, may be charged. Currently, Quantum Storage Systems charges sales tax when product is shipped to a destination within the state of Florida. When product is shipped within or into the state of California, all applicable sales taxes are charged by QNS unless we receive a properly filled out & signed resale card, prior to shipment.

Legal Jurisdiction: Any contract for sale by QNS Distributors shall be governed by & construed according to the laws of the City of San Diego, located within the State of California. In case of a dispute, the customer will pay legal fees generated for & by the defense of QNS Distributors.
